My Journey of Dedication and Service
Born on September 25, 1969, in Haiti, I’m the youngest of ten siblings. Growing up in Port-au-Prince, I developed values of hard work, perseverance, and community that have shaped my life and career.
I completed my high school education in Haiti in 1988 and pursued higher studies at École Normale Supérieure. In 1991, I graduated as a teacher and embarked on a 15-year career in education, teaching in various high schools and higher education institutions in Port-au-Prince. I also coauthored biology textbooks for students from the 7th to 12th grades.
Seeking personal and professional growth, I pursued a legal education at the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences in Gonaïves.
In 2007, I immigrated to the United States and began my career in healthcare. I earned an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) at Miami Dade College in 2011 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Florida Atlantic University in 2013.
Seeking further specialization, I obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University in 2016, graduating as a Family Nurse Practitioner. My commitment to holistic and mental health care led me to a Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the University of North Florida in 2021, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health.
I currently serve as a primary care and mental health care provider, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. My approach addresses physical and emotional well-being, ensuring tailored care.
I co-founded Trinity Community Health Center LLC, a community health clinic that provides accessible and high-quality healthcare. Our mission is to address healthcare disparities by offering affordable and comprehensive care to underserved populations.
In primary care, we focus on preventive health, chronic disease management, and acute care. For mental health, we provide psychiatric evaluations, therapy, and medication management.
Our HIV program offers specialized care, testing, treatment, and counseling, empowering patients to live fulfilling lives while reducing stigma and promoting community education.
I’m honored to be a co-founder of MeroMed Health, a non-profit organization providing community health services. MeroMed focuses on STDs/HIV prevention and treatment, mental health counseling, and chronic illness care for underserved populations. As a non-profit, MeroMed enhances our reach through public health outreach, education, and access to essential healthcare.
At both Trinity and MeroMed, we create welcoming and inclusive environments where patients feel valued and cared for. We prioritize accessibility and community engagement to address healthcare disparities and make a lasting impact.
This work aligns with my aspirations and belief in contributing to the community, enhancing lives, and fostering a healthier, more equitable society.
My personal life and values have shaped my perspective. As the youngest of ten siblings, I developed a strong sense of community. Family values have guided me in all aspects of life.
In addition to my professional responsibilities, I mentor, write, read, engage in community activities, and learn continuously.
My family is my foundation of success. My wife’s unwavering love, support, encouragement, wisdom, and belief in my dreams have propelled me forward. Together, we’ve built a fulfilling life rooted in love, mutual respect, and shared objectives.
My family is my passion for serving others. My wife’s dedication and support remind me of the blessings I share with her.
My vision is a world where education and healthcare are accessible to all, regardless of socioeconomic status. I aim to break down barriers in these areas, using my experiences and expertise to uplift underserved communities globally.
My journey from teaching in Haiti to providing advanced healthcare in the US has instilled in me resilience, determination, and a deep desire to serve. I’m proud of my path and eagerly anticipate making a meaningful difference.
